In Chapter 48, we learn that God gave the Israelites prophecies - He announced to them ahead of time - the good that He would do, so that they would not attribute them to the idols. God is a jealous God. He says, "I will not yield my glory unto another."
God says, "Ignorant...are those who pray to gods that can not save." People who pray to other gods, other than the God of the Bible, the only real God, anger the LORD. We have an obligation to speak truth to others - to help them turn toward the only God.
