July 20 Isaiah 60-64 Preach the Good News

It was Isaiah's, then Jesus', now our mission to preach good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, etc. (Is. 61:1ff). We live in a time with many brokenhearted, too many people living in captivity, in slavery to sin, in the darkness of despair and evil - we have a message of hope - a message of how people can find peace in a world without peace. There is a hurting world out there that we need to get out of our comfort and safety and bring the good news. Go out today and try to comfort only one person who mourns today because they do not know Jesus. Go ahead! Embark on your mission.
